Braintree Rotary Club continues to meet each week.....just virtually now!
Thanks to member Chris O'Neill and his company Net Tel One we have been able to join a live conference call for our weekly meetings as well as our Board meetings. To answer the question "what can we do to help our community during this crisis" our Board approved a $5,000 donation to the Marge Crispin Center to support the food pantry. President Steve Habeeb personally delivered the check to the Center, and they all were very appreciative of the donation. The Food Pantry is seeing an unprecedented need, and all donations small and large are welcome and appreciated.
We also wish to promote supporting all of our small businesses during this time of uncertainty. The businesses that are always there to support our Club and our charitable endeavors are now in need of our support! Shop local. Order takeout or buy gift certificates from one of our many restaurants in town. And a special shout out to Fasano's Catering, who had been providing our Club with a great meal at each of our weekly meetings at Great Pond Hall...they are open for catering/delivery orders!
